Salad Days

I've been having spinach salads for lunch and dinner all week. I have two more to go before I've exhausted my spinach supplies. I'm now totally sick of salad. It's a good thing I'm almost done with it. For now anyway. Maybe next week I'll make a weeklong pot of turkey bean chili or something. That's much more appetizing, and still kinda healthy.

I think I'm making my macaroni and cheese as well as a strawberry pie for our cookout this weekend. The weather looks questionable, but it should be fine. I only have two friends coming, which sucks. But it'll all work out and there will be more gatherings I'm sure.

Mother's Day is around the bend, and I haven't done anything. My sister says we'll take mom to a magic show or something while in Vegas. That's just not gonna fly. I do not like magicians one bit. It's just another quirk of mine. My boyfriend has encouraged me to write the extensive list down, and I think you'll be seeing something to that effect here in the coming weeks.

It's only 15 days to the Outer Banks! I cannot wait. Especially since everything at work is all weird.

Angel last night was brilliant. Not only was the whole premise hilarious, but I think it put a good end to the Spuffangel triangle. Spike and Angel are a wonderful comic team, and you could tell Boreanaz and Marsters had a ball filming the episode. All the Italian culture stuff was brilliant, and I simply adored the repeated sight of Angel riding behind Spike on a light blue moped. Yeah, the HoYay was over the top, but I loved it. Spike asking Angel to get on the bike by saying "C'mon lil' momma" was great. I can't believe we only have two episodes left.

Oh well, that's the update for now. I'll seriously try to be better about this. You know, as soon as my job clears up.

Dream Watch 2000: In the latest episode, I worked at the local NBC station crafting crappy news stories.

What I'm Listening To: Launch's music video player. I'm on electronica now, so it's like hanging out at my gym. Their collection is awesomely extensive. Want evidence? I just watched "Groove is in the Heart" twice. Oh yeah!

What I'm Reading: Articles about the end of Friends. While I guess it's sad or whatever, it's not like it'll even put a dent in the 45 daily showings in syndication. My favorite character was probably Joey, mostly because he loves sandwiches.

What I'm Watching: The Sopranos. How annoying is Meadow? Girlfriend needs a smack. Now.
